关于杭州博物馆

      杭州博物馆坐落于世界文化遗产西湖南面，毗邻河坊街历史文化街区，是一座展现杭州历史变迁和文物珍藏的人文类综合性博物馆，为国家一级博物馆，是浙江省爱国主义教育基地、浙江省科普教育基地。

      2001年10月，杭州历史博物馆建成对外开放。2011年底，杭州历史博物馆更名为杭州博物馆。2020年7月，增挂杭州博物院（筹）牌子。杭州博物馆占地面积2.4万平方米，建筑面积1.3万平方米，展区面积7千平方米，分北馆和南馆两个馆区。

     Hangzhou Museum is located in the south of the West Lake, a World Heritage site, adjacent to the historical and cultural district of Hefang Street. As a comprehensive humanities museum, it shows Hangzhou’s historical changes and artifact collection. It is not only a national first-grade museum but also a base for patriotic education and popular education in Zhejiang Province.

     The predecessor, the Hangzhou History Museum, was completed and opened to the public in October 2001, and then was renamed as Hangzhou Museum at the end of 2011. Besides, a new Hangzhou Museum has been in preparation since July 2020. Currently, the Hangzhou Museum covers an area of 2.4 hectares, with a floor space of 1.3 hectares, and an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters, divided into two quartiers—the north quartier and the south quartier.

     北馆 • 珍藏杭州
   
      2012年，杭州博物馆北馆完成二期扩建，“珍藏杭州——馆藏文物精品陈列”系列展览分为五个专题：“物华天宝——杭州出土文物精品陈列”“意匠生辉——杭州不可移动文物纵览”“翰墨丹青——馆藏书画精品陈列”“闲情雅致——馆藏文房雅玩陈列”和“方寸之间——馆藏邮票陈列”。
 
   In 2012, the northern quartier of Hangzhou Museum completed the second phase of expansion. The series of exhibition Fine Collection of Hangzhou Museum has five topics: Fine Archaeological Relics in Hangzhou, Historical Monument and Cultural Heritage in Hangzhou, Chinese Calligraphy and Paintings Collection, Furnishings and Supplies of Chinese Scholars, and Stamps Collection of Hangzhou Museum.

       南馆 • 最忆杭州

      2015年，杭州博物馆完成南馆展陈提升，形成“最忆是杭州——杭州通史陈列”和临时展览相结合的展览体系。

     In 2015, the Hangzhou Museum completed the upgrading of the exhibitions in the southern quartier, consisting of a permanent exhibition General History of Hangzhou and several temporary exhibitions.
